    IAUG's Councils

    Participation in an IAUG Council

    Requirements: Members must complete the IAUG Council Application to indicate interest in council participation. Please download, complete and send the council application to info@iaug.org. Once completed, you will be contacted by a Council Chair and asked to complete an Avaya NDA agreement between you, your company and Avaya. If you already have an NDA with Avaya, you are welcome to provide that.

    Responsibilities: Council members must be willing and able to participate on monthly conference calls, be willing to assist and field questions from members relevant to council topics, submit content ideas for year-round webinars, IAUG publications and events.

    Benefits: Council members have direct access to key Avaya product managers, opportunity to define and develop future product applications for other IAUG members and Avaya customers, opportunity to influence direction of IAUG and more.


    TEAM ENGAGEMENT & COLLABORATION COUNCIL  Request to Join

    The Team Engagement and Collaboration Council is organized around Avaya’s communications platforms and products for large enterprises. The Council assists Avaya in identifying new products and features beneficial to our members, as well as assisting members who experience issues while working with Avaya or an Avaya business partner. Products covered by this council include the Avaya Aura® Platform, Communication Manager, CS1000, Avaya Aura® Messaging, Session Border Controllers, and voice endpoint devices, as well as Avaya Flare®Experience, Avaya Collaborative Cloud™, Avaya Aura® Conferencing, and the Scopia® suite of products. In addition, the council covers the range of professional and operational services provided by Avaya and Avaya business partners.

    CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGEMENT COUNCIL  Request to Join

    The Customer Experience Management Council is organized around Avaya’s next-generation contact center solutions and services. The Council assists Avaya in identifying new products and features beneficial to our members, as well as assisting members who experience issues while working with Avaya or an Avaya business partner. Among the products covered by this council include Avaya Aura® Contact Center, Avaya Aura® Experience Portal, Proactive Outreach Manager, Customer Connections, Contract Center Control Manager, and Avaya Aura® Workforce Optimization, as well as legacy contact center platforms and applications. In addition, the council covers the range of professional and operational services provided by Avaya and Avaya business partners.

    DATA NETWORKING & CLOUD SERVICES COUNCIL Request to Join

    The Data Networking Council is organized around Avaya’s data networking solutions and services.  The Council assists Avaya in identifying new products and features beneficial to our members, as well as assisting members who experience issues while working with Avaya or an Avaya business partner. Products and services covered by this council include Avaya Aura® Virtualized Environment, Avaya Ethernet Switches, Routers, access control systems, and wireless LAN hardware, and the services to support them. In addition, the council covers the range of professional and operational services provided by Avaya and Avaya business partners.

    MAINTENANCE & SERVICES Request to Join

    The Maintenance and Services Council is organized around Avaya’s professional, operations, and support services solutions. The council assists Avaya in identifying new products and features beneficial to our members, as well as assisting members who experience issues while working with Avaya or an Avaya business partner. Maintenance contracts are a major focus of this council.

    EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES & ENGAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL Request to Join

    The Emerging Technologies and Engagement Development Council is organized to provide an emphasis on new advances in technology, both at Avaya and at other technology companies. This emphasis will include the Avaya Engagement Development Platform® solutions suite. The council will be responsible for the IAUG Future Needs process, providing suggestions and feedback to Avaya around the product and services needs of our members.

    MIDMARKET BUSINESS COUNCIL   Request to Join

    The Midmarket Business Council is organized around Avaya’s communications platforms and products for small/mid-size organizations. The Council assists Avaya in identifying new products and features beneficial to our members, as well as assisting members who experience issues while working with Avaya or an Avaya business partner. Products covered by this council include the Avaya IP Office, and voice endpoint devices, as well as legacy Avaya communications platforms. In addition, the council covers the range of professional and operational services provided by Avaya and Avaya business partners.
