    Avaya Completes Financial Restructuring

    NASHVILLE – December 19, 2017 - The International Avaya User Group (IAUG), the world’s largest customer-led organization for professionals utilizing Avaya solutions, responded positively to Avaya’s announcement Friday stating their debt restructuring process is complete. The announcement can be found here.

    “We’ve celebrate this new day and future with Avaya,” states Brenda Emerson, President of the IAUG Board of Directors. “As the largest Avaya customer-advocacy group, our members support the changes Avaya has made, and continue to make, to create a stronger company with a renewed focus on their customers’ success.”

    IAUG and Avaya partner annually to host Avaya ENGAGE, a gathering of more than 3,000 Avaya customers focused on innovation, the future of IT, and the journey through digital transformation. The 2018 event will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

     “The 2018 Avaya ENGAGE conference is showing record registration numbers, more than twice the registration activity over previous years,” states Victor Bohnert, IAUG Executive Director. “IAUG is the voice of the Avaya customer and collectively they are showing their support and interest in learning more about the future of Avaya. We look forward to learning more during the ENGAGE conference,” says Bohnert.

    Avaya recently announced the top executives keynoting at ENGAGE including Jim Chirico, President and CEO; Laurent Philonenko, Sr. VP and General Manager of Solutions & Technology; and Jean Turgeon, VP & Chief Technologist, Digital Transformation and Evangelist. In addition, Avaya ENGAGE will focus on emerging conversations and discussions with key players in the Avaya ecosystem.
