Press Release: Avaya Completes Financial Restructuring

The International Avaya User Group (IAUG), the world’s largest customer-led organization for professionals utilizing Avaya solutions, responded positively to Avaya’s announcement Friday stating their debt restructuring process is complete and they are now officially out of Chapter 11.

This morning, Avaya announced that they have voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection. The company has obtained a committed $725 million debtor-in-possession ("DIP") financing facility.
