    Session Descriptions

A Real-World Migration from On-Premises PBXs to the Cloud – What You Need to Know!

In this session, SPS CTO, Mike Taylor will share a customer case study on LeClairRyan, an entrepreneurial law firm and the technical and operational challenges of their migration from standalone Avaya PBXs at all twenty five locations to a hosted UCaaS Cloud Solution powered by Avaya.  This session will also cover LeClairRyan’s business requirements and how they were addressed for business continuity, security, network connectivity, SIP carrier services, site migrations, training and transitioning of support services to the cloud provider.

Avaya’s One, Two Punch for Achieving Benefits from Collaboration – New and Improved Integration with Microsoft and Embedded Collaboration

Many organizations have both Avaya and Microsoft in their environment. Many still struggle with the best way to integrate the two platforms. Early versions of “Client Side” integrations were restrictive and to be honest a bit clunky. With new releases things have changed and have moved from a non-starter to a viable solution. In the session we will go beyond integration and discuss the next wave of innovation.

The Adoption Curve Video: A User Experience:

Audio Conferencing, Video Conferencing, and Collaboration are three real-time communication technologies that have the power to transform a business and deliver enhanced outcomes – IF the business truly adopts the new capabilities they provide.  If adoption fails to take place, even the best audio / video conferencing and collaboration products will fail to deliver a return on investment.
